Dear Colleagues,
As the General Secretary of the All India Ophthalmological Society, I am happy to welcome you, on behalf of the organizing committee, to attend the 78th Annual Conference of AIOS at Gurugram. We know that everybody waits for this major event to happen in every calendar year and this year again we are all geared up to make this a wonderful experience for all of you.
We are expecting a huge turnout of almost 8000delegates,and preparations are going on towelcome over 150 overseas guests and speakers from various part of the globe, exchange knowledge with them and give them a glimpse of our beautiful country.
We have Dr. Lalit Verma as our Scientific Chairman, ably supported by an excellent team from whom you can expect the best in terms of scientific content. The conference will include discussion on a wide array of topics in ophthalmology as well as its newer aspects truly living the theme of “Global Ophthalmology Beyond 2020”
Gurugram also called as India’s “Millenium City” is a distinctive urban centre located in the National Capital Region (NCR) near the Indian capital New Delhi in the state of Haryana. Located just 20 miles away from the Indian capital, Gurugram houses the highest number of professionals per square inch in the country and distinguished as the fascinating city in the state in the terms of possession of durable goods. It is an icon of modernistic India, enjoying the condition of prosperousness as its peak through globalisation.
I compliment and thank the Local Organizing Committee of AIOC 2020 for the long hours of hard work put in by them to make this conference a memorable one and to be cherished for years to come.
